2013 Tire options and reviews requested

Ive, searched, read and researched.. This thread is for updated reviews at this point, Not a repost.

Im starting to shop for tires for the 4runner, and my father needs tires for his truck. He has a 02 chevy suburban 2500 8.1L. He is getting tires first.
Looking for a decent aggressive tread, Works well in snow, rain etc. Can be used on the beach with sand decently, Not obnoxiously noisy and will last an average amount of miles. Mud a plus but not a necessity at all. My father needs E rated tires.
Obviously You guys know what's best for the 4runner.

Here are a few options i've been looking at. Experience, Pictures, reviews or any input are appreciated.

Good Year DuraTracs- Proven, Obviously a beloved tire around here and in alot of other forums. However, Ive heard negatives of Wet Traction, Tread wear and weak sidewalls.

The NEW Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ ps3- Ive read great things, Tire looks great however haven't seen Enough about them being so new. Any body use these/ see these yet?

NEW Dick cepek fun country 2- Same as the mickeys. Feelings?

My opinion:

Duratracs - I ran these in 33x12.50-15 and your concerns are valid. The sidewalls are weak so stay away from rocks and tree stumps. The tread is slick in the rain especially for the first few hundred miles of the tires' life, but, they are better than MTs in the rain. If you are careful this won't be a problem. Treadwear is about average for aggressive tires. You're not going to get 60K out of these. Otherwise these tires are freaking awesome and I'd be running them again on the 4R if the prices weren't so ridiculous on them.

Mickeys and Cepeks...I won't run them. They are made by Cooper Tire and are super expensive because of the specialty brand name. You can run the Cooper/Mastercraft branded tires and get the same level of performance for less money.

My advice would be the Cooper AT3 or one of it's Hercules or Mastercraft cousins. But if you feel you need a more rugged tire for offroad go for the Cooper ST Maxx.
