2013 Trail and 285/70/17 Tires

Lets face it 2013 Trail has sissy skinny tires. I'm about to buy one but I want dealer to trow in 17in TRD wheels with 285/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapler tires. 2 questions: 1-will fronts rub while turning and 2-will spare TRD with 285/70 rubber fit in stock spare location? Thanks for any input.

There are a couple of people running the 285 Nitto Terra Grapplers with only the front fender mod and no lift without or minimal rubbing.

I had 285/70/17's on my Trail before the lift and after the front fender mod, I had no rubbing. A couple others have done the same. Here's a thread as an example. BTW, the thread title is incorrect as the debate is about 285/70's, not 285/75's which is a 34" tire.
