2014 4Runner

looks like a 4Runner to me. all the lines on the hood and fender match with mine - except of course the new grille and bumper cover.

WHAT!!!!! The 6th gen get LED tails again.....I hope they fit my 5th gen.

I don't think we're cuttin' the 5th gen that short, at least not that I heard. Looks more like a mid cycle refresh like they did in the 4th gens; though they're probably doing it a little earlier to match the other "facelifts" they've given our other models.

I like the previous one's (mine) better... These don't look like they belong on a truck.. just my opinion.

No, it's only on the diesel model with the manual transmission.

Similarities

The only headlight/hint of a grill similarity I see within the Toyota lineup is to the gasssp Avalon. The lower grill also kind of reminds of the Mazda line up.

I may be in the minority here, but I'm liking those headlights! I agree they are probably halogen projectors - but that's an easy upgrade - much easier than a complete retrofit.

very anxious to see the entire front end. but this pretty much what I said they would do :wink2:

I'm actually a starting to dig the headlights as well.

Easy upgrade till you have to add new front bumper fascia and possibly different turn signals...then the full retrofit doesn't seem so bad :peep: (talking about making the 2010-2013 to accommodate the new lights, I agree that the upgrade for those that would own a 2014 wouldn't be that bad)

I'm loving the tail lights! I really hope Toyota drops the lame "ground effects" on the SR-5/ LTD and cleans up the lines a bit.

I'd rather have this as my interior over that (Prado/upgrade), however its a Land Rover. Though not revlevlent they're meant to be hitting the north american market in 2015, MIGHT get my interest! :driving:

The Defender is a little to utilitarian for my taste... the success of the defender here will likely have a lot to do with the pricing and the reliability. Imagine the horror if the Defender arrives on US soil with both a 6 speed manual and a diesel engine??? 4Runner forum might temporarily shut down from exasperation...

I'm surprised that Toyota sold more 4Runners than Venzas.

As predicted...a subtle refresh. Nothing special...move along please.

Great News! I saw the photos on Autoblog earlier. I have been holding out for the facelift. I'm ready to sale my low mileage '07 4WD SR5.

I think it will be less than the Tundra refresh. A different grill, different tail lights, many some changes in the interior, but no drivetrain changes.
