Look, I like the new headlights (as long as the tops don't fade) I even like the LED ish taillights but if that is what you call a new generation I think I will wait for the 8th gen and get something worthwhile.
Not a hater, just saying that headlights and tail lights "to me" does not make a new generation.
I'll wait for a 7 speed manual turbo diesel....LOL

The 6th gen forum will have it's own self appointed thread police telling any negative posters to go elsewhere if their not being 100% fanboi or not owners of the model lol. :angel:

Looks like they got rid of those bulging headlights and tails. Glad those are being changed! The Highlander had bulging headlights than later Toyota changed them to more sleek ones that do not protrude out. Not sure why Toyota didn't learn their lesson from the Highlander's ugly bulging headlight mistake a few years ago?

I'm probably in the minority here but I absolutely love the new headlight design. I'm glad they went back to the projector design the 4th gen uses. It just looks cool Kinda 50/50 on the tailights but I'd need to see them in person to decide.

I like this headlight better then the "bug-eye" look that was happening... the pop out design just looked like its being asked for a broken lens
