Wow, I think that's the first White Limited I've seen and I really like it. It may be the only color I like with the chrome strip and I'm pretty sure it's because the chrome strip doesn't stand out so much.

So leather interior is now offered on the TE? The seats appear to be heated too, assuming thats what the dials are. Personally don't care for the added chrome and painted fender trim.

On the TE ,the seats are heated now but they are SofTex with color matched stitching and not leather..... New artificial leather gains increasing Toyota acceptance
They looked and felt pretty sweet really!

Also someone mentioned that the TE trim (center console,door and steering wheel) was piano black and actually it is gray with metal flakes and did look nice compared to the usual silver trim.However,the center console trim looked like the only things that will retrofit over to a 10'-13' as steering wheel controls buttons changed.

Thanks for posting this link. Aesthetically, the white SR5 with a sand beige interior is the first refreshed model that I really like and would seriously consider buying. Still not sold on the blue lighting display, but it would not stop me from buying.

I don't even know if it can be configured but I would love an SR5 Premium in Nautical Blue with Redwood Interior, followed by black interior as a second choice.

I am drawn somewhat to the redwood interior option, especially since I typically like contrasting interior and exterior colors. However, redwood is one of those colors that I will need to see first hand. My concern is that I may be initially drawn to the redwood, but may tire of it over the long term when mixed with the black panels and dash. I think it would be a good combination with the nautical blue.

More useless propaganda to encourage people to patronize a company that had to be bailed out twice (jeep). The aesthetics are simply a matter of opinion. I personally find the 4runner's competition (grand Cherokee) to be ugly, and I won't buy a mechanically inferior vehicle because it offers cooled seats and a v8 for less money. More importantly I want my truck to, oh I don't know... Drive??? (http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f309/2014-gc-dead-wont-start-1555270/) Also those hard plastics Are designed for what the 4runners intentions are: rugged use over the long term. Would you rather have a plush interior that's going to get ripped and marked up, and wrecked if you spill your coffee or wear work boots inside it? The only other vehicles I would consider vs the 4runner are the LC, or mercedes G class, both of which cost twice as much.

I know it's early, but does anyone else think the SR5 looks much better than the Trail (2014 versions?) The silver front and rear bumpers on the Trail are such a turnoff... the SR5 with its color-keyed bumpers look much more appealing to me...

I agree that the SR5 looks better but maybe not for the same reasons. I also prefer black rubber/plastic trim pieces vs. color-keyed. The fake aluminum brush guard stuff is so 10 years ago.
The interior, specifically the dashboard, was one thing I was looking forward to and these pics leave me underwhelmed.
One bright spot is the white looks interesting.
My last hope is the Canadian models.

I was all set to buy a 2013 Red Trail and the pictures of the 2014 Red Trail had me hating the new front end.

Now I'm really liking the interior changes and the White and Black SR5s look great. I'm starting to think about a 2014 Black TE Premium and having the ugly silver skid plate and rear bumper done over with black Rhino Liner (or something similar). . .

I gotta admit. Now that the initial shock is over, I really like the refresh. Inside and out. That said- it's not enough to make me jealous (except for the interior!) or wish I could trade up. Me still happy!

It was going to take poertrain improvements to make my trigger finger itchy... While I think the new interior's are nice, I really like my current interior from the large center speedo to the red backlighting.

I will say I like that the SR5 has gotten back to it's roots. The body work the front and rear bumper and the side skirts have been lifted up in a functional way, the chrome is gone, much more purposeful looking now.

That is utterly hideous. The chrome strip on the Limited looks like packing material put there for protection during shipping that the dealership forgot to remove. The person who though of it should have to wear one on his head and the person who approved it shot.

Thats embarrassing. Interior looks decent though.

Makes me love mine even more and want to hang onto it like grim death.

As a respected member of this forum and after seeing what you did to your truck, I couldn't imagine how you could ever even be in the most remote far-out vicinity of being jealous.

You should work for Toyota, pull their heads out of their asses, and show them what a truck should look like.

The black SR5 seems to be the only version (that I've seen so far) that manages to calm down the craziness happening with that front end.

Interior changes look great. Never understood why you couldn't get solid black outside of the limited until now. Nice to see it as an option in the 2014s.

My guess is the silver overlays will be similar to the black ones the current on TE vs Canadian SR5, which basically pop-on over the SR-5 bumper-cover. If you don't like them it should be easy to take them off and paint them, or leave on and use Plasti-dip. You could even do the fender flares too if you wanted. It's an easy fix and a cheap way to have a unique truck.
