2014 4Runner

Someone who owns a 2014, please correct me if I am wrong.

I can't seem to see the audio/headunit/volume controls on the steering wheel of the 2014 in the pictures. I see the bluetooth for phone pickup on the right, the cruise control on right side, and on left is the dashboard selector controls.

Stereo/audio/volume/track/etc controls?
Am I missing something?

Cheers

On the limited it's on the left hand side of the steering wheel below the head unit cursor / selector controls.

Crap garage pic, had to throw a filter on it to show the wheels a little.

As much as I love 4runner...the front bumper really hurts my eyes doesnt matter how i look at it.. I really want the trail edition, can i replace the front bumper with the limited edition?? I dont mind spending extra 2k if necessary..i just cant stand that strange concave in around the fog lamp..

a trail edition with limited edition front lower bumper with the silver bar looks awesome to me.. please let me know if anyone knows if the swap is possible. I think it is.

For 2k you could just about put a real bumper on it.

How about..swapping out the 2014 front end (headlight, grill and bumper) to 2013? is it possible? the hood looks the same..and i hope the mounting as well.

Does anybody happen to know what production or ordering code for the black TE factory running boards? All the TEs come with factory mudflaps right? I want to make sure I get it right.

Test drove the 2014 SR5 on Friday. I have a 2011, but like the new look without the chrome. They are willing to make a reasonable attempt at a trade, but not sure about a few of the changes. The same cloth seats which I found the have wear / pile issues, big moonroof (not a deal breaker), the integrated antenna in the rear window, and my least favorite change was the 4wd shifter is now a knob. A knob!!! WTF? The dealer also had the chrome running boards instead of black. Gotta have em black.

I do like the new rear bumper, looks like a steeper exit angle, but specs say it's the same. Tailgate hasn't changed so I would expect rust around the emblem unless I take preemptive action.

I like the touchscreen audio. I noticed the roof mounted shark fin a antenna wasn't color matched? Also noticed that the mid console no longer had 120v outlet (only 12v).

What do you guys think about the changes? Especially the 4wd shifter? The vehicle felt the same as my 2011 otherwise.

Get the Trail Edition, still has the manual 4WD shifter not a turn knob. I've only had mine a few months so I can't comment on much else. There is a 120V in the back. If you don't like the moon roof, getting one without is always an option. I don't have one, couldn't justify the extra cost. I do miss it at times, but not enough to regret not getting it.

Only about 2 weeks old now! Had quite a bit of turnover with cars of late, but I think this one will be here to stay! First 4Runner for me.... '14 Trail

I have the 2014 SR5 Premium non-KDSS.

Don't love the knob, definitely lame, but of course in the end just as functional.

Love the moon roof (At least till the day it leaks). Though the lower ceiling I have already hit my head on a couple times offroading :D

Love the antenna in the rear side window.

Love not having KDSS (Though I spent $$$ on third party suspension upgrade)

Hate not having a rear locker (Another future upgrade)

Love the "leather" seats in the premium version.

Completely indifferent on crawl control.

If I had had the choice between an non-KDSS trail and the SR5 in exactly the same color, I would have taken the trail to get the rear locker, the only difference between the two I really care about.
