2014 Rear Bumper Trim Removal

Any luck removing the rear bumper?

Im about to remove the rear bumper on my 2016 Trail and was wondering if you had any tips/video's or pics you could share. I already removed the front bumper and replaced the silver accent, but wanted to see if anyone had any advice before I started on the rear. Thank You

[MENTION=119516]jicko[/MENTION] yup! ended up taking off whole rear bumper to pop the clips off and boy am I glad... No one on this forum replied to any of my questions about removal of the rear bumper and/or trim. Ended up just doing it and was wayyy easier.

Were you able to re-use the clips or did you have to replace any of them? I'm going to be doing this job over the weekend and I'm a little intimidated by it. I've never removed and replaced trim on any vehicle before.

I didn't break a single clip. The front valance is a tight squeeze, but was able to pop off w/o removing bumper. However, I did remove the whole rear bumper to make removing the rear valance 10x easier. The bumper comes off pretty easy as well. Just make sure to coat the shit out of the valance! I haven't retouched mine in over a year and it still lookin' nice enough for me, just a few dings and I wheel my rig pretty often.
