2014 Rear window decal question?

I am wanting to put some decals on my rear window, but I am a bit apprehensive thus far. Reason being is that I am afraid that lowering and raising the rear window will damage either the decal or the weather stripping. Does anyone have decals on their rear window and are they affected by said action?

I have a Guy Harvey 6" decal on mine and its fine. Ive had it for around 4 months and I roll the window down every time the dogs are in the back

I have several stickers on my back window, and I put it down often. I haven't had any issues, and they have been on there for almost a year.

I have a couple on my back window and have no problems with them. As long as they are put on well (clean glass, good adhesion) they should be trouble-free. Mine are more apt to get damaged when scraping ice in the winter than from opening/closing the window.

I have several vinyl decals on my truck, some on the back window. Never have had an issue w/ up/down and mine had alot of edges which could theoretically get caught.

I had several stickers on my the back windows of my 2003 and I used the roll down window a LOT. After about 5 to 6 years, the stickers were flaking but never had a problem with them.

That said, use stickers. I wouldn't trust any of the "cling" ones.

im not big on stickers so did a clean hidden one, i rarely roll the rear all the way down so it doesnt take much abuse though

My "GW Bush Blows" sticker on the back of mine peeled in 2007 when the economy started going to crap from deregulation and banking failures. But I digress.

All the rest have held up no problem.

all good brother... cant expect everyone to be psychic! lol

Felt like mentioning that you handled this situation gracefully. Some people would have been angry, and acted like a poke in good humor was big deal... when in reality sometimes you just don't know.
