Chrome Bull Bar on 2014 SR5 Premium-whatdayathink?

Well it looks better! I bought one of those plastic license plate mounts and used the existing license plate bolts to move it up about 6 inches so it is centered with the bull bar. The stainless breaks up the massive "mouth" nicely. They do make a black version and a black and chrome also. Ebay under $200.

Here are some pics of the bumper before and after switching the OEM tires. I am adding a 3 inch lift and plan to take some photos with better light.

Has I really want to slap a Satoshi Grill on there.

Yes that is a direct fit designed by shrockworks for the 2014 4runner. I think with an aftermarket bumper a satoshi mod would work. With the stock bumper it wouldn't look right unless you removed the Toyota emblem and fiber glassed and redid the middle plastic so its flat across.

Ordinarily, I really like the big blocky TOYOTA logo, but that's all just too much stuff going on in too little space. That would look so good with the chrome wing and sombrero gone, and the TOYOTA centered in the upper grille.

Just bought my '14 TE in black this week, and was really hoping to make the grille match my '83 FJ60. Looks like it may be me trouble than it's worth. Really enjoyed the Photoshop brainstorming though!

That is the first LE I ever liked of the 2014's. I am not a fan of all the Chrome. I like a little but not like the LE have. This is done very clean and moderate. Like the way the black and chrome compliment each other. Great 4R indeed!!
