2014 sr5

So, I got my gray '14 SR5 Had a difficult time finding one with the proper options -- I wanted the third row and nav for Entune and pretty much nothing else. Eventually one dealer located it for me and after a bit of haggling I grabbed it.

I paid basically invoice and the dealer agreed to eat the costs for the fluff already installed (clear paint protection, nitrogen-filled tires) and take off the tint on front windows (which is illegal in my state).

Congrats! Nice looking truck. I think the SR5 benefitted most from the 2014 update.....the cleaner body work is so much better!

It is nice to see Toyota finally came to their senses and got rid of all of that ugly fake plastic chrome junk on the SR5. Maybe they just had to save it all for the limited's bumper!

Congrats on the new rig! Looks good.

It is good to see some under body shots of a new 4runner...I can see the 2014s still have rust on all of the welds. It is shameful that Toyota still can't figure this one out.

Make sense to have russian on lift scissors. they have one kind for all countries. don’t understand why they would put russian on the brake fluid canister. maybe they learned that russians prefer toyotas:thumb3:

I wish I had your dealer--I just bought a 2013 TE with KDSS and NAV, and I couldn't haggle them down to invoice (though I admit I do suck at haggling). Sounds like you got a good deal.

Super awesome! Call me biased, but out of the LE, TE, and SR5, I think out of the '14s the SR5 looks the best.

On the '10-'13s I do like the turn signal/DRLs by the fog lights though. Cool truck!

I also like the clean look of the SR5 and the absence of chrome. And I actually do like the unusual front end. The females around took a look and chorused "It's a boy car" :-D I can live with that

I will swap out the tires, hopefully this weekend. Other than that I'm looking at roof racks since with the third row up the luggage space is basically non-existent. I won't do a lift because I live on the East Coast which has few rocks but lots of mud and sand (and occasional snow). Throw in some mats, maybe do a little bit of inside electric stuff -- everyone needs a USB charging port nowadays -- and that probably will be it.

I believe you can order color-match handles directly without it being a 2014 version.

I bought pre-painted door handles for my '12 SR5 from the dealer. PM me if you want part #'s for the silver handles to match your existing paint.
