Hey guys... got a few questions. I combed through the forum but not sure if what i've read about previous editions applies to the 2014 model.
1. I feel the speakers on the 4Runner TE are lacking and I'd like to get better quality, louder sound from the audio system. To have more sound output, do I need to change the speakers, head unit, or can I just install a small amplifier?
2. Following question 1, I can't stand the glare on the head unit due to the factory positioning, especially when the sunroof is open. (It's the major, and only flaw on the vehicle, in my opinion.) So, has anyone replaced the factory entune head unit yet and had success with all factory components working with it (Bluetooth, navigation, steering wheel controls, auxiliary connection, etc).
3. The factory headlights... will swapping the bulb with an 8000K blub make them brighter or is it the housing and the entire setup that would need to be changed? I don't want to fabricate anything, I just want the headlights brighter.
Unfortunately, I'm deployed right now so I'm trying to buy this stuff online and have my wife get everything installed so it's ready for me when I get home. Any information and feedback would be awesome. Thanks guys
