Lift Kit Advice 2014 TE

Just bought a 2014 TE 04/06/14. Already got it muddy. I've been thinking about a mild lift. Any thoughts on toytec? Do I really need remote reservoirs or are bilstein 5100 good enough for light off roading and 33-10.5ish BFG ATs? Also drive in snow here in VA. I don't want to sacrifice handling or too much fuel mileage.

First, welcome to the forums.

No need to go remote reservoirs unless you are going to be doing the kind of off-Roading that has a high cyclic rate, like desert racing.

Toytec is a trusted name and I offer them on my site, it runs about $35 more than Toytec prices, but it included shipping, so it saves you $100.

Thinking of a mild lift for light off roading 33-10.5ish BFG ATs. I don't want to sacrifice too much handling or fuel mileage. Is the Toytec boss any good? Also will this screw with my drivetrain warranty?

Thanks, I'll check it out. I posted another thread because I didn't think this went through....whoops. Anyway, will that accommodate 33's and will it void my drive train warranty?

Toyota will not void your warranty unless an added part fails and can be confirmed to be the cause.

You warranty will remain 100% in tact with this lift, in fact there are two dealers that I know if that install the Toytec lift. One being Toyota Of Dallas, and the other being Sun Toyota of NM.

The lift will allow the clearance of 33 inch tires, you can view my build thread to see it on y 2013 SR5. And I just got the BOSS kit from Toytec today for my 2010 Trail.

I am running 285-70-17 Coopers on my 2013, and on the 2010 (still in the build parade) I am running 255-80-17. Both are 33s, but the 255 has better road manners.

Welcome to the 4R community. I don't mean to sound like a dick and I usually am not one who harps on people who do not search, but I know for a fact there have been multiple Toytec threads lately that will contain all the info you are looking for.

Use the search bar at the top of the forum and you will be surprised at how much info is out there. I would venture to say 99% of any members' questions have already been asked and answered on this forum alone.
