Spent today figuring out how to take off the silver bumper piece. Good news is there is no adhesive or screws, it is all just clips. Bad news is it is a very tight fit...that's what she said.
The piece is held on by 13 clips that are accessible from the back of the bumper:
The black plastic cover over the radiator needs to be removed. Nothing else needs removed.
Clips are removed by compressing the tab on one side and pulling them out from the other end.

The bottom clips are accessed from underneath the truck. I found that loosening a couple of the bolts holding the bumper made it easier to get my hand in to compress the clips.
Finding someone with long skinny arms will make this much easier. I have lots of scrapes and cuts on my arms.
