2015 SR5 4Runner Bumper Woes...

New to the forum, new to Toyota and look forward to a long relationship with our new 4Runner. My wife and I bought a new 2015 SR5 XP 2 weeks ago today. Love the ride so far. Heres the deal, the Runner has 700 miles on it and after parking in the back of the parking lot at a restaurant last week, somebody backed into the front of it and took off. I didn't notice it until I was washing it that afternoon. It looks as if a trailer hitch hit the lower part of the grill leaving a scratch and a crease along the majority of the bumper/grill cover.
Took it to a local body shop and was quoted $425 to repair it (fill and paint). Not too happy at this point, knowing that any repair will look 10 times worse if it ever comes in contact with something again.
Here's my questions, the whole car is color matched grey. After combing through this forum and images on google, I have seen what looks to be a cover over the lower part of the grill, either painted black or silver. Is this something that can be purchased. Short of having it repaired, I thought about plasti-dipping that section black to see if it would cover it up. Any opinions would be much appreciated. I will post some pictures tonight when I get home. Thanks for the help.

What package is the SR5 XP?

To answer your questions, the Trail (Silver) and TRD Pro (Black) models come with additional trim on the front bumper as you mentioned these are not directly bolt on parts as you would have to cut out holes/slots in your existing bumper to allow the mounting points/clips to attach. If you are not going to do that yourself + the cost of the trim piece I would almost guarantee it will be more costly then getting the current damage fixed. It would also change the look and if thats something you are going for maybe its worth it!

Some Options:

*leave damage as is
*Paint/plastidip the area to see if it helps
*Pay to have the damage fixed
*Pay to have the Trail or TRD Trim installed
*Upgrade to a Metal bumper such as SS Slimline or Shrockworks

The links below have pictures of the trim removed (trail model) and show the holes

The XP package is something they; Im assuming dealers, do down south (nc,sc,ga). I didnt see one on the 4runner but the dealer had a XSP on Tacomas/Tundras.
