I have a 2015 Trail Premium with 50,000 miles. Can’t get a straight alignment. After having it looked over, it was determined my rack and pinion bushing are shot. When turning, you can see the actual rack moving side to side.
Also I found that my camburg uniballs are worn and have decent amount of play in them when pushing and pulling on the wheel. Gonna be a fun weekend tearing it apart.
The rack is not leaking. Just need new poly urethane bushings. Anyone have suggestions? Haven’t seen any guides/write-ups on doing the job for a truck this new. If anyone has a link to a write-up, please send it my way.
