2016 Fog Lights

If it's just the bulb. Everything I read says the fog light bulb onto the 2016/s is h16 instead of h11

Did anyone verify if these fit in a 2016 TE

I ordered the Morimoto XB LED Fog Lights from TRS on Black Friday along with my HID kit. Just went to install the fogs and found out the hard way that they will not fit on 2016s. Now, TRS does not advertise them as working on 2016 (website says 2010-2015). But I assumed like most other items, they would be the exact same as a 2015. I was wrong and I'll be contacting TRS tomorrow to see about returning them as well as to let them know they don't work. Thought I'd make a post here letting others know that there is at least one difference between 2015 and 2016 T4Rs and not everything for a 2015 will fit a 2016. Anyone else run in to anything similar?

Did anyone verify if these fit in a 2016 TE, pick mine up this week and would like to order these fog lights if they fit.

Our '16 came with LED fogs/DRL's from the factory...

listed as option code LD401

"2 in 1 LED projector fog lights w/LED DRLs"

Turn signal stalk still has the fog on/off switch

There's also a "DRL" button on the left side under the dimmer that enables/disables the DRL's.


That said... it appears there is an OEM LED option if someone wanted to upgrade to LED's

I installed the xb fogs in my 16 sr5 premium, the inside tabs went in with a litle wiggle and the outer tabs were a little wider than the holes but if you squeeze the bracket and start both screw before you tighten them down they go in just fine.
