I've noticed that my '16 TE takes awhile to get up to speed, but once it does, it requires steady braking to get it to stop. Given this is my first 'truck'-style vehicle I've owned, I always assumed this is common and the brakes take some time to 'wear in'.
In a weird way to explain my experiences, it's like the brakes go from 'slow to bite to STOP!' with not much in-between. I've already panic stopped a couple of times, neither of which were intentional and find myself stopping well behind the vehicle in front of me because I'm not confident with the T4R's ability to slow to a stop properly. As you could probably guess, this makes for an awkward experience for passengers.
Has anyone else noticed something similar? Is it just me not fully used to how this thing brakes and eventually it will get easier?
