2016 trd pro

Man if there is one TRD Pro that will be easy to come by next year I think it will be this one IMO, not a fan of that color combo at all.

It'll sell like hot cakes just like every other Pro... Because it's a PRO!

I still love it... All you Haters!:lalala:

It's the same color. Lighting affects the color as does the camera. I have seen many photos of the same tacoma and half the time they look just like that tundra.

I don't think there was any speculation. I think most of us knew what the color was.

Quicksand and sandstorm are two different colors on the FJC; Hence the speculation. I posted a picture I found of both earlier in this thread I think. I also saw a dealer site that said quicksand and a forum post that said sandstorm. This was all before it was set in stone and everyone knew what the color was.

Quicksand was the only color stated by anyone trustworthy or reliable. That's why I say there wasn't any speculation. Not to mention it was the color of the new Tacoma and there was no reason they would use two different beige colors in their lineup.

I suppose you are resolved on being correct, which I don't mind; but the original talk just said 'beige'. Then it was quicksand. Then a dealer page somewhere stated sandstorm. So there was some speculation...not sure why you would be so intent on saying there wasn't. :) You can just scroll through this thread and others and see a lot of people were speculating. Of course once there was confirmation from a reliable source the speculation ended. Mainly because we had an answer.

You also said they were the same color and they are not. I mean they are both beige. So in that sense they are. But the two side by side look quite a bit different.

Normally I wouldn't even argue semantics but you started it! :croc: ;)

Toyota shoulda went Cement Gray, Sliver and White. Or kept Black, because, Black is always a good choice.

You only believe there was speculation because you believe people at dealerships and people here who believe people at dealerships. The first time I even heard a "rumor" of the new color was from the one person I would trust with this type of info and he was dead on with it.

I said the new 4runner trd pro color is the same as the new Tacoma color, and it is. I never said quicksand and sandstorm were the same.

The guy said 'is this the sand' with a pic of the taco. You said they are the same. And I really do not care. I'm not sure why you would choose to quote me and say there was never any speculation about the color.

And, btw, if either of us is proven 100% correct, absolutely 100% of nothing is gained. You win as far as I am concerned. There was never any speculation on the new color anywhere on this forum by anyone with a brain. Only morons thought there could be two different beige possibilities. I was one of those morons. I humbly apologize and crown you king turd pro of shit mtn. Good night.

Yes, I said the Tundra and Tacoma in those posts were the same color.

if they would have went with a lighter tan like Jeep did the first go around, it would have looked a lot better. wet sand is not a good color.

Yep, the jeep color or the original Sandstorm FJ color that these guys have been swinging purses about would have been better.

I wonder which colors sold best in '15?

I was planning to get white or inferno, but then I saw the black w/the bluish metallic fleck in the paint, and I really liked it. The murdered out look may be a bit much for some folks, so I suspect black is 3rd. That said, I saw one black but haven't seen any inferno's or white's on the road in all my travels in New England.

Considering that they only made 500 in each color that came to the states this year, I would think that sales would be the same, 500 sold in each color.

I think it was more 1000 to 1500 of each color. Toyota themselves said 'over 3000' will be built. So more of one color may have been built. I'm gonna say white was probably the best seller though.

Well color me wrong :)

Well played sir! You win today, as I sit here and suffer through 45 minutes of bullshit Army videos to complete an annual Security Refresher.

I got my Inferno, my wife hates the color, but she likes me so she will get over it lol

I have an Inferno also and love the color wife likes it to, I thought I was the only one in Vail CO. that had one until I saw a new one rolling around the other day with drive out tags from the local dealership in Glenwood springs CO. which is close by
