That car was sold before it hit the lot. my buddy had a deposit on it a few months back. He got a great deal on a TRD Pro!

MSRP seems to be a decent deal in the bay area - below MSRP would be stellar. So did he get a decent deal or a stellar deal??? LOL
Going back on topic does anyone know when 2018 info will be officially released?

I put a $500 deposit back in April for Cement, then just a few days ago, the dealership told me no more Cements will be ordered, but they have a white one for me coming in mid August.
White was my 2nd choice, but I had my heart set on Cement. So I asked the dealer what colors/changes for 2018, he told me black, white, and calvary blue. I looked up the color and loved it. I told the dealer to move my deposit to Calvary Blue. He thinks maybe Sept/Oct delivery....cant wait!

... uh ... I'll be the one to tell 'em ... those colors are slated for 2018 production run, meaning not until the 2018's get built, in 2018, will they then get painted Calvary Blue, then get shipped, someday ...
Dig deep into the advice and actions taken by people in the last month or so on the forum here, tons of priceless information, and it should save you some serious heartbreak not to take ANY details from a salesperson, especially one who ordered you a Cement, in APRIL, and "Has a white one coming for you in mid August"
I, personally, would be livid.

Something that I find important for potential new owners to know is that the TRD PRO's cannot be ordered, per se.
Dealerships are given an allocation - they're allowed to "configure" that allocation, however.
When a dealership takes an "order", they're simply creating a wait-list -the dealership still has to wait until they are given an allocation to fulfill the "order".
The point of this post was simply to set the expectations for those that are still waiting on an "order" or those that will place an "order".

Nice, I wonder what the cost will be on that TRD enhancement package. It'd have to be pretty cheap since $1000 will get you both of those and you have the stock parts as backups. Odd that they won't offer that package on the SR5. I wonder if you will have to have no KDSS to get it.
Since you seem to have info. What does it say about the land cruiser for 2018? Anything new at all? Colors lol?

Thank you for the info, its really appreciated. I dont mind waiting as I have extra cars, but I really want the Calvary Blue, if I have to wait a year, I'm ok with it, as long as I get the color I want, plus I can save $$
I am interested about any 2018 Land Cruiser news as well.

uh... April? I decided it was time to pull the trigger a last weekend, emailed and called a dozen dealerships and had a deposit down on a Cement TRDP before Monday morning. It arrives at the dealer in 1-2 weeks. I don't understand all these stories of people 'ordering' trucks and waiting 6 months or more.
BTW, if you still want a Cement one, there are still some out there. And if you're willing to pay over MSRP theres a couple dealers willing to sell you one today too.
