This is the most significant redesign since 1979 IMO, and for one reason: They've dropped the solid front axle in favor of IFS. With that said, it still retains the front locker. I guess the size and chassis layout makes it an option for dissatisfied(and very affluent) 5th gen Limited owners that don't want the extra size of a Land Cruiser.
