Looks amazing, wonder if it'll sell. Seems the only luxury SUV made in the US that seems to move is the Escalade.

My local Ford/Lincoln dealer is already giving away the New Raptor powered Gator at 15k below MSRP.

What?! The Navigator is not selling?!?! Just one year ago, dealers could not keep in stock and my brother had to be on waiting list before he went with Raptor.

Love the new Aviator. On a side note, not sure what's happening in CO, but nationally the Navigator is selling well. 2018 sales totals are almost 50% higher compared to last year.

The speakers in the car are a lot smaller (due to lack of space) and has less dispersion. The car environment is harsher than a home theater. But yeah, it is trying to do surround sound AND height, like Atmos. Basically every high end car is now doing Atmos thing.

It looks pretty nice. I agree on the 28 speakers being pretty crazy. Maybe they’ve figured out how to do multiple zone listening. It seemed like there was a rear seat entertainment system.

Sales are up...but 50% quote is misleading because prior to this generation, Navigator sales were horrifically bad...being destroyed by Caddy.

So 50% improvement from bottom of the chart is improvement...but not as much as it sounds.

50% sounds like 50% because it's 50%. The only reason I posted it is because someone posted some fake news about the new Navigator selling slowly, which isn't true. The Navigator had been selling in extremely low numbers for years. The new model turned this trend around and in a big way for an upscale and very high profit vehicle.

Best if you post numbers (last year and now)...and then post numbers by its competitors for comparison.

FYI...i like the Navigator and Aviator...not trying to sh!t on them. I actually appreciate Ford more than GM.

15,766 Navigator sales ytd through the end of November, compared to 10,523 for all of 2017. Not a high volume seller by any means, but for vehicles approaching 100K and with huge profit margins for Ford, it's not a bad number.

I know all this. My point was just to refute the statement that the Navigator was not selling well. The new Navigator is selling at a 50% higher clip than the old one. So it's now far more competitive with the Escalade than the old one was. This is a success.

True. The real test is how well it does against the next Slade coming in the next few months. Most people in this market segment who aren't aware that Porsche, Benz, or Land Rover exist go to the Caddy dealer or GMC.
