Do you plan to keep the FJ...cough cough, I mean T4R pro rack? I'd focus on upgrading to a rack that's actually useful more so than trying to find a ladder to fit the OEM "afterthought" rack.

The owner of this voodoo says it’s a gobi ladder and it hits the back of the rack. But he says gobi is making another one specific for the 2019 pro rack [emoji13]

Ah nice thanks for the update!
Yeah as others have said, I'm not 'extremely' thrilled about the rack on my 19' but it's not a bad rack at all. Beats having an aftermarket rack clamped to the stock rails like a Curt or Yakima. I'll hold off and wait for that compatible Gobi ladder for sure - who knows, down the road maybe their lead times will be better and I'll go full rack with them!

Yeah, i actually kinda like how it looks...
I can fit 90% of my gear in the truck, so not sure how much I'd use the rack– mostly just thinking about getting a ski rack to attach to it... hoping that it'd clear/work.
I put sliders on my truck and between that and the tire I can get to 90% of the rack right now, so maybe i'll wait on ladders until I have more needs for it.

with the added weight of the ladder, it actually stops a couple cm before touching with stock hatch struts.
I love the baja ladder, but i'm glad that gobi has decided to make one that works 100%.

We tested our current ladder yesterday on a TRD Pro vehicle with factory rack and there was 1/8" clearance between the ladder and the roof rack, we will modify one of the tubes of the ladder to have 1/2" clearance.
