2019 TRD PRO 4Runner Pic Request

Waldo, do you happen to know if it has Entune 2.0, or 3.0? What happens if your iPhone is connected via USB? Does a carplay option pop up? Just curious, thank you!

I don't know what Toyota is thinking with that stupid roof rack!?! I have the factory one on my FJ and I despise it!! If they were going to put that dumb thing up there, at LEAST make the 4Runner version go the entire length of the roof so it's useful and doesn't look stupid. I have the factory low rails (Also stupid but at least look nice) on my '16 trail premium and I run the Thule lo profile bars that look stock almost and work great!
That FJ style rack is not attractive or functional.
 
That's crazy that they couldn't even be bothered to put in the new head unit from the tacoma. The sub does look bigger than the previous JBL system I had in my '15 LE. I don't know about that obnoxious JBL logo on it though.

I called 8 dealers in the area. Some on the I5 corridor are asking $8-10k over MSRP which is crazy.

Entune 3.0? no car play support unfortunately. Installed the entune app and it upgraded the head unit’s firmware. Seems to work great just no user interface for app in the head unit.

Not sure.

Nice on-road performance, really smooth rebound. I was a bit worried it would have a springy ride like a tundra platinum; hit a bump... wobble side-to-side. Seems to behave like the Toyota literature says:

“When transitioning from compression to rebound, the piston is momentarily held at the top of the stroke, which helps prevent bucking.”

I had standard Bilsteins on my 05’ Tacoma TRD Sport. Definitely more rigid but not really a good comparison (leaf springs).

So it sounds like they slowed down rebound speed. That would help reduce kick back or bucking. I think the internals have like 11 position sensors. I know how their Mtn bike shock internals work but not the same here I would bet.

Try Burien. Their service isn't the best, but they didn't mark up mine. Put down my deposit, got the trade in and total price in writing and just waited for the VIN and delivery.

I ended up buying a 2019 from Titus-Will. Second best buying experience (first was through my friend who is a car broker).

That voodoo blue is Hideous. Looks like a kid got ahold of a bucket of primary color blue and threw it on it, That color is for someone thats concerned there brand new model won’t get enough attention as it is. Reminds me of drivers you see with chrome rims on a Tercel or purple painted wheels. Is that really a white hood or a wrap? Toyota should be paying the driver to buy that color.

New cars are shipped with that stuff on hoods, trunks and sometimes roofs so that other cars on the shipping trucks don't drip fluids or drop gravel from their tires on cars below them.
