You can't wait for the spring,lol, you have to go to the car wash after every snow storm.
I did that...but what I was saying is that I'd do a complete high pressure undercarriage wash by hand with my powerwasher in my driveway every spring to completely clean the undercarriage and get rid of any salt that got trapped in the many crevices under my 4Runner. The power wash at the car wash, in comparison, is nothing but a quick undercarriage spray. I'm sure it helped, but my 4Runner still rusted all to hell despite the best possible preventive care I could give it. My brother's Grand Cherokee is a thousand times better as far as not having undercarriage rust and he never even washed the damn thing.
