Hello again. Just picked up a limited nightshade. Love it except for the stock tires. I would like to move to a slightly more aggressive wider tire I live in calgary Alberta so want it to handle all seasons wondering if I should do a levelling kit or small lift to make room for the larger tires. I’m not looking for anything over the top just subtle that makes it look a touch more off-road Not sure if the level or lift is even needed so please chime in. Also if you can recommend a slightly larger / wider tire size it would be appreciated.

Then you will quickly come to the conclusion that your options are limited by the stock wheel width. 275/55/20 is possible but it is out of most tire manufacturer recommandations.

I was going to put this tire on my Nightshade as well, but was told by the dealer that they will rub.

Yes the LTD drivetrain is the exact same as every other 5th Gen. You are good to go swapping.

Yep. I put OEM TRD wheels (black) on my 2014 Limited with Nitto Grappler tires. No issues.
Yes spoke to my dealer as well. They said they do this swap a lot and just need to trim a tiny amount in front wheel well to stop minor rubbing from full lock in reverse.

Tacoma town in Cochrane does a lot of lifts and and such. They were very helpful.
