Damn you Toyota and your chrome. The black valance does help

Perhaps they were trying to make the front slightly less ugly.. And I think they accomplished that. But just slightly.

Wish they would have put the front end of the RAV4 on the 4Runner.

I like the new RAV4 front end too. Fast forward 20 years though, I think the current 4Runner black tear drop inlays extending down to round lights will look great on an older truck.

Those chrome lines did piss me off when I saw the first 2020 - I had been waiting for months in hopes they would reduce chrome and maybe even change the stupid silver valance on the ORP as I almost bought a 2019 but held out for the bigger screen. I did get a 2020 ORP and I will likely just roll some 3m vinyl tape over it. To be honest, the big screen (it’s amazing) , the greatly improved dash info screen, push button, and GREATLY improved Entune Nav/ Apple Car play has made me not really care about that extra chrome. This is the 4Runner I was waiting for and is worth the extra cost. Tire Pressure monitor has already come in handy in the first week as the dealer had my tires at 52 PSI and I only caught it scrolling through the settings. The safety stuff is turned off. Tires and Black valances coming Friday - can’t wait. I will shave that chrome mustache soon though - need to see some mods for this issue.

I picked up my 2020 TRD ORP yesterday and noticed that the dealer had my tires at 50 PSI as well. Wonder if it's a shipping things.

I was actually thinking about buying a 2020 to replace my 2018 TRD ORP, but I won't be doing it because the adaptive cruise control doesn't work below 20 MPH and because the chrome mustache looks incredibly stupid.
why would you want your cruise set under 20? might as well jog to work

Most manufactures set pressure high for transport, most dealers in Chicago have dumb shit kids prepping vehicles forsale and have no clue to check the tires even though its on the list

I did hear they pump them up for the overseas trip. They seem to all be set at 50psi - have heard several new buyers - myself included -having them set at 50. Somebody described it accurately as driving on basketballs.

Because he probably wanted the car to drive itself in stop and go traffic? I used to live in LA, and I always wished my wife's Lexus' adaptive cruise control would stop and go with the traffic during my 2 hour commute from OC to LA. Pretty sure they intentionally have it self disable under 20mph that so people pay attention in heavy traffic instead of thinking the car will do it for them. I totally get it though.

Hey guys,

The chrome mustache is bad. I hate it. I bought a grill from a 2019 TRD model to install it on my 2020. Unfortunately they changed the way the grill mounts up. It’s way different and it’s not interchangeable between 2020 and 2019 and earlier.

Thought I would share. Big let down....
