2020 TRD Pro Updates - Army Green & Push Button Start

Kinda jealous of y’all. I’m in western Washington and haven’t heard anything. My dealer is good with communication and I just talked to him less than two weeks ago when he confirmed I’m first on the list for army green. I don’t want to be that guy and email him again.

I wonder why the east coast is getting a head start. Maybe because of the rail time they have getting the trucks over there?

My dealer finally let me order on 8/1. Just put my deposit in. Waiting for the build sheet. They didn’t have exact cost but are estimating. They told me about 6 weeks to land. I’m coming from an Outback which I love but needed more space and towing. Complete n00b but learning a lot from you all.

Ordered a 2020 Limited after realizing I likely wouldn’t use TRD features.

Might want to give them a call and be that guy -- I'm located in Central/Northern Idaho and I got the call yesterday and they are expecting a late September landing date.

If they won’t give you a price, I’d suspect it’s because they’re going to try to give you a markup and are waiting on the sales manager or higher to decide how much. They know exactly how much it will cost.

My dealer didn't have a price for me either when I switched my order from Pro to TRD OFP, Pro was MSRP + 5k. I'm not paying MSRP or MSRP+ for a TRD OFP, I'll wait if I have to or find a different dealer.

My dealer finally got the basic info you guys have been reporting on here. I was able to put a deposit down on an army green pro and got confirmation it will be at msrp. Now I get to impatiently wait.

if you don't mind me asking, was MSRP like $50K.... we just purchased a 2019 for about $48 including a extended warranty to 10 years... but if we could get the 2020 for a few thousand more wondering if we should return this. All the dealerships we talked to told us the 2019s weren't going for anywhere under $55k, and we figured if the 2020 was looking like $58-$60k the 2019 was a deal

Is that Canadian dollars? I have never seen a Pro going higher than 48K here in Dallas.

Nope US dollars insane right?! Multiple dealers in Vegas are all at $5-$7k addendum on top of msrp

We even called dealers in Arizona and Washington too! THinkibg now I need to call a few more if we add in $4k more and talk them into a deal on extended warrnty might be worth it

They haven’t officially received msrp info on the individual dealer order sheets. Msrp should be at $50,885 including delivery based on the pricing increase info that was released recently. Unless you are one of the people absolutely against “tech” features or tssp specifically i think you should go for the 2020. You can find dealers that will sell without a mark up. The 2020 pro is increasing in price but has a lot of new features (no matter how minimal) that may be worth it. These things hold value, and while it may be cheaper, I’m not sure how much of a deal you are actually going to get on a 19 just because a new model is coming out.

You just have to call/go around to each dealer and find out. Usually the easiest way is to talk to the online sales manager. They'll quickly tell you. If they try to say "yes, BUT..." just hang up.

Agree. I had to pester every couple days. Squeaky wheel and all.

I have been holding out on buying 4runner for like 3 years so far...

What I want in 4runner TRD PRO for me to purchase:

• AUTO AC (why the hell is this so hard...? Why wouldn't the TRD pro get auto ac..? Just take the module from the limited and sell it in the TRD pros..)
• Heated/vented seats... (Again.. just take it from the limited and sell it in TRD pro)
• Multi-terrain camera setup that the taco is getting.. would be useful for parking
• Android auto.. (finally they added this for 2020)
• Jbl stereo (they do offer this)

There are other features I want in gen 6:

• Better gas mileage but hopefully not a turbo motor.. I want naturally aspirated for the long term reliability if possible
• 1 button to auto-up/down all windows at once
• Keep rolldown back window feature

So frustrating!!! $50k vehicle and doesn't have these features yet..
