did you have to cut anything putting on the 22's?

With the original 265/40/22 tires I had and no lift I did not have to cut anything. When I upsized and lifted I had to cut the lower front of the fender and some of the mudflap. I know there is some pictures in the "Post pics of your T4R with 20inch wheels and bigger" thread of someone that managed to put 24's on their 4runner without lifting it. It looks pretty sick.

no, you dont have to cut anything to fit 24's, at least on a 3rd gen. Plenty of people around here have done it. Your tires will be a little thinner and stiffer than if you had 22's but youll still get the same shitty ride.

yea same here, i kind of want to upgrade now. After you look at wheels for a while and have 22's or 20's you can really tell the difference when just glancing, whether their 22's or 24's. However my ride is crappy enough and 24's would kill it.
