2500 miles in 2013 Trail

Any issues getting your TE leveled with KDSS?

I have a Toytec 2.5"/1.5" level kit and have seem a lot of warnings regarding any lift/level installs with KDSS equipped 4R's.

No.

It works on road and off. No warning lights, terrain selector engages like it's supposed to off road in 4L.

I've put about 5k on it with the leveling kit and wheeled the crap out of it already.

But mine is just a 1" spacer.

Owners Manual

My dealer was all mixed up on the controls and between the Limited, SR5 and Trail. He gave me some interesting answers at times and told me it was OK to drive my Trail in 4WD on the street.

I attached a copy from the owner's manual - Other Driving Systems. It has good info on the Diff Lock - page 250, Crawl Control pg 256 and Multi-Terrain Control on 260. KDSS is mentioned on 268-269.

I found it confusing, but after reading it a few times and trying the different modes off road it starts to make sense.

The dealer told me that the Terrain Selector switch to the right of the hill descent control is the KDSS control. I'm transitioning from an FJ80, which has none of these switches or fancy controls, so bear with me.

Once again thanks on heads up on the AIP whine on shutdown, the dealer told me that this is the "hydraulics" of the KDSS.

My dealer told me that the shark fin was the regular antenna, although I had already installed my knubby, and that it didn't have a dif locker even after I pointed the button out to him.
