265/65/18 With Limited Wheels Question

Hello I was wanting to know as far as upsizing tires on a 2006 4Runner Limited. Could I go with a 265/65/18 since I have the Limited Wheels and achieve the same thing as going 265/70/17 that people are doing with the sport wheels?

Nobody has any advice or opinions on these tires on limited wheels and knows if they will rub or not????

If I were you I'd just look at tirerack.com and see if the diemensions of the 265/65R18 tires are close to those of the 265/70R17's. The website shows overall width and diameter. If the dimensions are within a half inch or so I'd say you are OK.

I would NOT get those tires....

Whats wrong with those tires? I am wanting to do a 265/65/18 upsizing from stock 265/60/18 that was really the only A/T tire in that size unless anyone else has a recommendation for a tire in 265/65/18 size?

Hmm, i could be mistaken...is that tire Bridgestone Dueler AT?? If so, then it's a good tire. But if it's a small brandname tire, then i would skip it.

I believe its the tire that comes on the H3. 265/65/18 is upsizing 18" wheels almost exactly the same size as 265/70/17 is for 17" wheels. I thought maybe this would give hope for owners with limited wheels to upsize without having to swap for the sport 17" wheels.
