Hi. Currently have stock 265/70/16 tires on 4th gen runner 2wd. Looking to install a slightly taller all terrain tire 265/75/16. Has anyone done this? Any rubbing issues?

I see lots of threads with 17"+ rims but nothing for the smaller 16" rim.

thanks!

Am I really the only one with small 16" rims ?!

No one every replace stock 265/70/16 tires with a slightly larger size ? And were there any rubbing issues?

thanks.

You are not the only one... I decided to stick with the 16's because I wanted more meat on the sidewalls...

From the stock size, I decided on going with a 265/75-16, it seems like a solid move... that said, I haven't actually bought the tires yet.

I am going to put this on a 2004 SR5 and dont think I will be running into any problems.

Thanks for the reply ! Let me know how it goes once you get the tires. Looking to get A/T tires in that size.

I think you will be fine...

You are adding about an inch to the diameter, width the same. You should be able to clear the extra 1/2" (radius increase) without an issue. Even a "square" AT tire should be just fine!

I remember to meet a guy with 265/75R16 without issues and slightly off the meter. The tires are Pathfinder AT and doesn't liking that much and looking for better all-terrain tires. I suggest to check the actual diameter of tires as sometimes the actual size differs on different brand even on the same tire size.

You'll be good no rubbing.
I've installed this upsize on many customer vehicles.
