265-70r16 - What Tires To Buy?

After 12 inches of snow, it has become apparant that I need new tires for my 07 T4R. The factory tires suck, especially in this much snow.

That being said, it's time to buy two new sets of tires - one for winter and one for summer.

Essentially what i'm looking for are suggestions for:

Winter tires - I want something that has an aggressive tread that will throw snow like it's nobody's business. The need for this is apparant, especially after going through town in all this snow. We do some highway driving in the winter (50%). Something deep and aggressive that will get us through almost any snow would be superb.

Summer tires - Obviously in the summer we are looking for something quiet that has a long life. We get little rain where I live, although i'd still like an aggressive, sharp looking tread that I could use to go off-roading in the summer if I decided, but that would still be a comfortable, smooth ride on the highway.

Any suggestions for both of these sets of tires?

X2. The Blizzaks and Michelin cross terrains. Pricey but worth every penny. Best tires I've owned. The cross terrains are more of an on-road tire and not very aggressive looking, if that's what you're going for, but will handle light to moderate off roading and snow. The Blizzaks are fantastic in snow and ice, but still smooth and relatively quiet for winters.(better than my current Arctic Alpins)

265/75/16's will fit and gives you more choices. The aforementioned choices are good. I would add Revo2, Terra Grappler by Nitto, Firestone Destination A/T and maybe even the Hankook.

Those are all A/T's that seem to do well in the snow. None will be as good as true, dedicated winter tires but they'll work very well all year.
