275/60/18" on stock suspension?

I believe you will be fine if you are using stock wheels. the 275/60r18 is only 1/2 taller and 1/2 wider than the stock size.
 
I have 275x60r18's and a leveling kit. I my front wheels rub slightly when I turn to back out of the driveway or a parking spot.
 
I searched, didn't find anything related to the tire size. And excuse me if I ask a direct question about that tire size. Even if I saw that thread, I would still have asked. If I acted incorrectly, it would result in throwing away $700 or more. Instead, I chose to ask those who know.

Is the arrogance usually this thick in this forum?

were not arrogant man, don't take it personally, its just stickied for a reason. at the end of the post it shows tire sizes and the lift needed to run them

275/60/18 is about 31", so if you look under the 1" front 0" rear group, it shows that a 31.6" tire fits, and again in the 2" front 1" rear group, so you have two option. anything over that, you're golden, but it looks like 1" front is the minimum
 
I appreciate the help, but this isn't cheap, I figured I'd ask when I didn't get a return on the tire size search. I hadn't read that sticky since it was suspension related, it didn't dawn on me that it would have tire info.

I went through that thread and now feel ready to berate the next new guy that asks. And based on a friend's advice who wheels, I'm sticking with the stock suspension. For the driving and off roading I'll be doing, I don't need a lift.

It's not about berating anyone, it's about people doing a little searching so the same questions aren't asked every day.

most people find themselves in the same boat. me and [MENTION=55855]zopperman[/MENTION] included. for what we do, stock suspension works just fine. eventually everyone wants to upgrade, you'll soon be bitten by the mod bug. but hey we all start somewhere, so welcome to the club!

My searching abilities are similar to your reading comprehension skills. Read the above.

I searched, that link wasn't turned up in that search. I saw various threads discussing mostly 17" wheel/tire combos, so I asked about the one I want - 18". And look at what I did for you, your post count has increased AND you helped a new guy out. Feels good, right? :vader:

And I can help you out even further - if you subtract 5 from the aspect ratio, you go from a 17" wheel tire size to an 18. :jaw:

So let's say we have a stock tire on my rims which are 16's:

265/70/16 = 265/65/17 = 265/60/18

This information is also in the link that I posted before, which if you had read as thoroughly as you claim, you would have seen.
