275/70r17 on 3rd gen

So I was wondering if anyone who has the bilstein 5100 tundra lift on their 4Runner has ran 275/70r17 and is there any wheel rub or anything
I am thinking about doing this to mine with some level 8 mk6 17x8 with -10 offset

I have OME 883s w/ 5100s (3" lift) and they are close but do not rub at all. I guess it would depend on the perch that you set your 5100s. Mine are on the bottom/first perch.

I'm running some 275/70/17s with 17x9 Moto Metals. Suspension wise I have tundra Bilsteins and Toytech springs upfront with LC springs and shocks in the rear. Clearance wise is great and haven't really experienced rubbing unless full flex on the rear

Love your setup. Do you have pictures/details posted anywhere else?

I have the 2 inch lift with the fronts set to the bottom perch and am running TRD tundra coils in front and OME 906 in the rear

I think you will be ok. I know of another member that runs these tires with the tundra setup. Maybe [MENTION=9596]paddlenbike[/MENTION] has some more useful information for you.

If you have the factory front bumper with the oversized fender flares you will need to trim the flare with these tires. You can see the contact point in the photo:

Otherwise, these tires are a great fit.

Also, since I'm planning on running negative offset wheels, would it be much different from your setup?

I have 275 70 17 BFG KO2s with 07 FJC rims with tundra coils and 890s. A ~3" lift. No rub that I've noticed. I had 1.5" spacers at one time and rub a bit with them so I removed them.

Do you know the offset on those wheels?

It's hard to say for sure. The wheels you are planning to run are wider with less offset, all of which will cause more rubbing compared to what I have. That said, my lift is only 0.5" higher than yours and the only places I see rubbing are the fender flares on the front portion of the bumper (which you don't have) and the mudflap at the back of the fender (light rubbing). It looks like you still have running boards, so you may get some level of rubbing there, but probably nothing severe. Personally, I think you'll be fine, but be prepared for the possibly of some very light trimming.
