286 70 17 question

Anyone fit this size tire in the rear with no lift? Or tried but had issues?

You may be able to jam it in the wheel well, but you wont be able to turn and will have difficulty with the struts and springs compressed

Even with a 3" lift many people have to do some trimming or a body mount chop to limit rubbing with that size.

You may be able to get away with 265 70 17 or 255 70 17, but no promises

275 70 17 youll need a mild lift/ leveling

Thanks for ur input! I do have a lift upfront but I haven’t done the rear yet and was worried if I’d even be able to fit them back there

So after looking at all the past experiences of those before me I’m gonna look into getting 255’s instead. Thanks for the help guys!!
