2nd gen 2door 4runner fender flares

I have 2 door 1990 4runner and am trying to find cut out fender flares for
With little success. I read on another thread that they don't make them for my year 4runner because theres not enough space between the rear doors and the wheel well. However mine is the 2 door model and as lots of space in that area.

Does anyone know what might work for me any help is greatly appreciated

I don't know this for sure but I wouldn't think it should matter if it's 2 door or 4 door. I think the fenders are the same dimensions.

I bet you could make a set from a first gen work, and if not, hit up slacker at toyotafiberglass.com or PM him here on the board.

Thanks for the reply but while I know the dimensions are the same the problem is that as far as I can sEe they don't make cut out fender flares for the 2nd gen 4runner and I have been told it is because of lack of space from rear doors to wheel wells. Seen as I have a 2 door I don't have rear doors and have a lot of space in this area.

Thanks for ur reply was definetly a little more helPful then the last one. I was actually wondering if I could make 1st gen cutouts work it looks like it should work. If anyone's tried this or knows more please let me know

I doubt they'll slap on there - to make them work you might have to shape your sheet metal a little bit after you trim.

You should definitely post up if you get them to work.

I'll be ordering them in probably 2 weeks and will definetly posh as to how it turns out. Still hoping I might get some advice from someone who's done it.

Looks like the only way to make em work is cut out part of gas door or move gas door up. Ended up returning will need the money for the om617 swap I plan on doing.
