2nd gen seats in a 1st gen?

Are the second generation seats a direct bolt in on a first gen. 4Runner?

I could have sworn I read a build thread where someone just bolted in 95 seats in their 1st gen. I'll see if I can find it.

front seats:
front bolts fit right in
Rear bolts have to drill
Have to modify cable system on passenger so it will slide and tilt with the same lever or getting in the back is a chore.

Back seats take alot of fab to fit.

nope i disagree. i have 2nd gen seats in my first gen. from ones bolted right in. rear ones took ALITTLE fab and creativity. not to big of a deal. its pretty self explanitary
