2nd gen upgrade from no map light to map light

I picked up a 1995 today and plan on pulling a lot of parts to fix up my 94

The 95 has a nice light under the mirror that mine doesn’t and I’m thinking maybe I can mod it into my truck some how. I’d like the extra light during the night. I know a lot of guys convert them to led but for now anything beats the little dome light that back lights anything ur trying to see

So it’s looking more complicated as i dig in. Looks like I’ll have swap headliners and wiring if i want to do it right. The liner in the 95 parts truck is in better shape anyway so I’m seriously considering it at this point.
