I would advise against modifying the way the seats are bolted down unless you know for a fact that what you're designing is stronger than the original bolts. Probably the last thing you want breaking free in a car accident is the entire 2nd row with passengers strapped to them.
Went camping this weekend and forgot to bring tools to remove the 2nd row bottom seats.
Still under 15 posts, so a total noob, but wanted to ask if the second row 60-40 configuration can be removed individually? i.e. can you take out just the 60 part or the 40 part?
