2ng Gen Offsets to run 33x12.5 confirmation required.

Hi All,
After much reading I decided I'm going to hack my guards and fit 33's, so I bought some tyres on ebay however they are on patrol rims with a positive offset.
I can legally run -22 offset on the runner but it seems that most rims come in -23 instead.

With the IFS, can I run 12.5 wide tyres with -22 (or-23) offset?

I was about to order some new rims and came across a post on a surf forum saying that I will need at least -28 to run the 12.5s.

Can someone please confirm one way or the other so I can go and buy some rims!!

(I will be lifting 3" in the rear and 2-2.5 in the front)

Are you asking about a 2nd gen Runner? If so you don't need a lift or aftermarket wheels. 33x12.5's fit just fine. :guitar3:
