2Way Air system

Saw one of these in action on an FJC. The thing worked brilliantly, and soon the guy had an audience. Basically you run 2 output lines to the rear, and you have 2 outputs in engine bay, and 1 input port for your air compressor. Plug one end of the yelllow cables into each of the 4 output ports, and the other end to the tire valves. This allows you to air all 4 tires up simultaneously. You can also deflate them simultaneously. Works with onboard air and portable air compressors.

Ordered one (using the TCT Magazine 15% discount). I'll photograph and document the install steps.

On my CJ, I built something similar but used a manifold. Makes it a lot cleaner. They sell them at onboardair.com but I made my own from fittings from Home Depot. On the manifold, I had the air compressor, 2.5gal tank, pressure gauge, regulator, lockers, a hose/connector to the front and another plumbed to the rear.

Have fun!
