3.0 to 3.4 Swap

Whats up guys,
so Im trying to get some info about the 3.slow to 3.4 swap.. I have a 95 thats seen better days. So I know u can swap a 96 engine into a 95 with little revisions, but I see the 3rd gen runs from 96-02.
Question - Can I Swap a 2002 motor into a 95 just like the 96?
Is it worth it vs a New car?
Does anyone have any complaints about power/gas mileage concerning the 3.4?
