3.4 rebuild, shop needed

I have a 96 4runner with the 3.4, 260k miles. Head gasket went, coolant in the oil. Everyone recommends a full rebuild or drop in a rebuilt. Any shop recommendations in the No. CAL area? I'm considering taking it to Yota1Performance in Riverbank. Anyone have experience with these guys?

Thank You,
Ryan

I ended up going JDM used engine over rebuild since my engine had too many issues. I have also heard of Yota1 but have no experience with their services. There's also a place up near Redding that does Toyota rebuilds (or at least used to) called Flexpoint Offroad. Appears their site is down and no longer secure though so they may have closed. He helped with some performance questions I had as they at least at the time, also built race versions of the 5VZ-FE.

I did a little more research and found CT Engineering out in Sonora. He used to be in Rancho Cordova, he rebuilt my buddies 22RE 15 years ago that still runs great. Dropping truck off with him Tuesday. Little cheaper than Yota1 and a little faster turn around time. I believe he can do it for cheaper as he is a 1 man operation (much lower overhead), and I know he was the "go to guy" 20 years ago when I had my 1st gens.

Did he mention anything about custom work? I'm going back and forth about whether I should pull the heads when I put my camshafts in or just do it in the engine bay. Looking for a place that knows 5VZ-FE's well and can port and or modify the supercharger/intake/heads.

Sorry I did not discuss anything with him about custom work.
