3" Lift Recommendation

I'd like to do a 3" lift, put some bad boy 33" tires on, you know, the usual stuff. But I don't want to a full suspension kit.

So I'll just pose this question, what would yall recommend for a 3" lift for a reasonable price, but also not the worst quality? I've looked at Rough Country but they only have front shocks and rear spacers. I do a fair amount of offroading, but also a lot of daily driving.

Cheapest + fair amount of off-roading are not the best combination.

There are a ton of threads on this. I recommend dobinsons and you should take a look through their thread. There are also hundreds of other combos that wont break the bank. Bilsteins may be the best fit for you but I would read up on some observations from others on them first.

Do some research and dont head into it with the mindset of cheapest being the main factor, you might regret not spending just a bit more later.

Look at the Eibach pro kit. 2.75" but comes with front and rear shocks and coils. Around $800. Several people have switched from bilstein to eibach and stated they liked the eibach kit better.

3" Lift Recommendation

Cheapest would be just a front and rear spacer lift.

Up front it’s not really going to be much different than raised perch struts. Yes you’re probably going to get better valved struts that are hopefully beefier but both are going to give you limited down travel and don’t address increased up travel.

Spacers in the rear seem a little more common but stock length shocks will need to be replaced or you will need to find a shock extender coupling.

Rancho has a couple of lift/leveling kits that are priced pretty good. Have one where it’s just the strut and you reuse your front springs. They also have loaded front ones with bigger shock bodies for a little more $.
