come out to rexburg idaho and you haf a place to stay and shower for a few days till we kick you out.
tons to do out here. caves, fishing, swimming, sand dunes, creeks, national parks, waterfalls, yellow stone.......:fishing:

My wife and I did this.
I got out of the military, and we both had no job, no bills, no car, but plenty of cash. So we went on an around the world vacation for two years, part of that included buying a truck and driving not once, but twice across the US visiting every national park and point of interest there was.
We wanted to go up to Alaska, but we decided we were finished with the around the world vacation and had to return to "normal" life. The Alaska trip will be soon enough when I get a 4runner.

Sweet, how ya liking the roof top tent? You didn't by chance pick that up used in Colorado did you?

What type and brand of root tent is that? Can you post a link & model?
It looks lightweight. I'd love to get a super low profile light weight rooftop tent like that.

i have the m/09 model.
it's sitting on a gobi stealth rack.
i have about 60 nights in it. set up is fast, less then 5 min.
take down is quick too. i can break camp in about 20 min.
if you get this combo be aware that the front bar on the rack interferes with the front buckles... you have to push the tent back a couple inches, but not so far as to hit the rear door when it's up. The airtop model has a different buckle that i don't think would have this problem. also, the tent doors are on the side. with a gobi ladder on the tailgate you could get the airtop model and leave the alum ladder at home... all in all, I would buy it again.

What a great time you seem to be having. Seeing the US by auto gives one first hand insight to have vast and wonderful our land truly is.
