I think the Trail wheels are 17x7.5, I would go with the 285s.

ya that does nothing for me. thanks for the effort to paste it tho. looking for someone running this specific set up. chart doesn't have anything to do with spacers, or lift or front bumper change.

What it should do for you is point out that you are talking about putting a 305 width tire on a 7.5 wheel. Not recommended

maybe there is a very valid reason why you don't see anyone posting about 305's on stock rims, running 1.25 inch spacers.

that chart should have clued you in. Sure you can make anything fit, with enough time, money, and a sawzall.

Like pdubs said its not recommended max i would do is 285 (i have) maybe 295 but both are already pushing it. 305 will look more round and stick further out since the rim width is only 7.5. After market is the way to go for this size wheel, but like anything I'm sure somewhere some might have it.

the chart is for non lifted vehicles also.

gotcha, thanks

it won't matter if your vehicle is lifted or not, if you can't turn your wheel without destroying your inner fender or hitting your body mount.

thats the point of that chart.

Now, the chart also points out that if you are willing to modify the body mount, seam welds, and the inner fender lining, and not to mention purchasing UCA to go along with your lift, so you can push your wheels forward and still align it, then you might be able to fit it.

So the chart does answer your question, you are choosing to ignore the answer that is on that chart.

rather than wasting my time posting the several links on the topic... I'll feed the lazy...

YOU WILL RUB LIKE A MOFO!

I have a 3" lift, pushed up fender liners, no mud flaps, trimmed bumper, 1.25" sipdetrax spacers, 285/70/17s and a BMC.... I still rub a bit on tight turns while acceleration or breaking.

Be prepared to remove your fender liners completely and go for a steel bumper or trim yours up with a katana.

Well that's interesting, I have the exact same thing right now with nobody mount chop and just barely rub. Occasionally

Actually I asked if anyone was running this specific combo. I didn't ask if it would rub or not.

Yeah, you are probably rubbing on you body mount and fender liner just above the body mount. I'm currently rubbing on that body mount and will let it feather itself out, since it's only plastic.

If you don't plan on shopping your body mount, check your tires frequently for gouges in the tread.

Pretty sure the guys with a lift Running 35s and no spacers have to hack the crap out of their wheel wells. Just be ready for it

I'm definitely going to do BMC. New gears are on their way, tube front bumper also.I'll probably stick with 285 75 17

I'm running 285's on 0 offset wheels/1.25 spacers with a BMC and I still rub on my front bumper fender when off-roading when I'm fully tucked and turned all the way. Just because you don't rub when driving on the streets you still have to keep in mind when off-roading. Thats's what I learned.

I run 285/75's have a bumper and BMC. However I am on 9" wide rims. I have got everything to where I don't rub under full compression with the wheel cranked all the way either direction. But it took a lot of fender cutting/reforming and the caster needs to be above 4. Make sure your UCA's will handle that degree of adjustment. I sit at just over 3" lift as well but that really has nothing to do with it.
I wouldn't do the wheel spacers If I was you. Exasperates the problem

On a separate note you'll love the re-gear. Best mod I ever did.
