305/70r16 tires are they too big?

i currently own a 2005 sr5 v6 4wd, which im gonna use for offroading. i purchased 305/70r16 which are 33 inch tires, the thing is that i haven't lifted it. does someone know if when i lift it the tire will stop rubbing the mud flaps. thank you for the support.

Are you running those tires on stock wheels? If so, how? a 305 is a wide tire, without a lift and some serious trimming, I don't think you can get it to not rub...

I'd say no,
people have trouble usually with 285's and trimming with lifts (paired with spidertrax or aftermarket wheel) let alone with 12.50's and no lift

If you're going to try and fit those on a stock wheel, you will not be able to get the wheel on. Stock wheel offset with a 285 rubs against the UCA, with a 305, you probably can't even get the wheel to sit again the hub. Not to mention, I don't even know if you can safely fit a 305 on a 7.5" rim... my 285/75R17 Nitto Terra Grapplers came with big warning stickers saying the smallest width to put on was 7.5"

i have spidertraxx 1.25" spacers on, lift hasn't arrived. i just wanna know if they are too big so i can go back to the tire dealershipp and change them before they are too late.

Not gonna fit without the lift. Also, you'll need the body mount chop to clear those tires.

ark, i only know of the bodychop to do for the FJ cruiser, do not know of the bodychop for this rig. Can u give me a hand here? my rig is not in the states, i currently live in the Dominican Republic.

There's a body mount behind the front tire. With 285s and wider, the tire rubs the mount. Save issue as the fj. You'll need to do this to clear them lift or not.
