How much lift and what kind of things will i have to do to my 96 4wheel drive limited to make them work. I can buy a brand new set of BFGs for 400 bucks. I know i have to buy wheels but im sure ill have to cut and trim things. A list of things would be great. Thanks guys in advance.

I did a toytec 3.5" lift and 1.5" BL. I haven't trimmed anything but I put a ODL bumper on mine. I'm running what equates to a 34ish. See my build thread.

It rubs when its stuffed for sure, so you'll need to beat in the pinch weld.

You will need spacers if your using stock rims.

I wouldn't run more than a 33 without upgraded brakes. You can get by without it, but you will be saying woulda coulda shoulda when you rear end somebody because you cant stop. If you have a deer killer out front like I do, prepare to deal with totaling the guys vehicle in front of you. Plate steel and recovery points are unforgiving upon impact to civilian vehicles.

I'm running 315-70-16's...I have a Toytek 3" lift with stock wheels on a 2000 SR5 with Limitied fender flares. I did have to do the pich weld mod. I also have Spyder Trak 1.25 wheel spacers...don't know if I have to have them, I just like the wider stance.

I have no rub issues driving around town; however, I believe I would have some problems if I went off road. I think if I went off roading...I would need a 1" or 2" body lift.

I have the ome 3" with a 2" body lift and i trimmed some of my fender in the front and only rubs when hitting a very hard bump. i also rub on the limited mud flaps in the rear when flexed

Thanks for the input. I really want to stay away from a body lift if possible. If i do it ill go with some mickey Thompson wheels that i found i like. Im assuming the tundra brake upgrade will be plenty? Not planning on much off roading mainly just for looks.
