So I looked around and I've gotten a lot of good information about big 34-35" tires fitting onto our rigs; However, I am gonna make this post to request some specific suggestions / knowledge - forgive me if that's super obnoxious.
I currently have 5100's all around, OME 885's in the front (with a 1/4" spacer up front) and superflex rears. All in all I believe I have a full 3" lift.
I am going to install a 1" body lift next week as I am looking to upgrade my tire size from 275's to (hopefully) 315x70x17. I'll also be switching from 18" limited wheels to the FN F(x) pro wheels (which I believe have the same offset as stock wheels + 1.25" spacers).
My worry is this - I know I will have to do a bit of fender trimming as well as a BMC.. That's fine with me - Off the top of your head, do any of you think I will run into a (stock) UCA problem / anything else? I don't do any serious off-roading (yet) and just want to be okay to cruise on the road without any rubbing (or at least, very minor rubbing at full lock / reverse).
The tires are BFG A/T's which I have read sometimes are a little more of a chore to fit than some other tires that are the same size (I may be wrong on that) - But I am hoping to get away with just a hefty BMC and some fender trimming to make them suitable for on road use. Once they are on over the next couple months I will work on getting them ready for some off-road flexing.
Any response / help is much appreciated - Thanks!!
