I can do that. So far I’ve only used a jack to try and flex it. I’ll get some more pics showing the UCA and body mount clearance as well as some others.

Great, no complaints. Seem to be inline with other reviews on the AT3s in the more popular sizes.

I haven't had a chance to take it anywhere significant and flex it out, just some mild stuff but no rubbing so far.

The only rub I have experienced is backing into a parking spot with the wheels turned almost all the way. I get the most minor rub in the BM location. Not enough to warrant a BMC, but I may at some point just to future proof things.


I do like them though. That said, Ill likely keep long term. Next set will be these or 35x10.50s with more lift.

4 months later, how have they been treating you? I'm leaning more and more towards these for my next set. I'm still hung up on the spare thing, but I guess I could always keep a 255 back there for emergencies.

we just put a set of these on our 4runner as well. Theyre nice. Drive great, a bit more hum then the cooper at3xlt's. wheel turns easier. they're skinnnnnnny.

Thanks for the input. I think my major concern with 255/80/17 is the harshness of the E-load. I'm perfectly content airing down D/SL-load tires, as I've done it a ton with my Grabber ATX's with no issues. The additional half-inch of clearance would be nice on the 33.5'' tire, but I have no BMC and don't particularly want to do one yet. What's your suspension/wheel setup and have you had issues with these?

no issues, tons of clearance. kings, and 1.25 spacers on trail wheels.

Not even a BMC? I figured with the 1.25'' spacers a BMC would be required with that diameter. Some folks say they rub with just a 255/80. What did you do for a spare?

4 mo later and they have been great. It will be my keeper size, unless and only unless I go with 275/75r17 or the Kenda 35x10.50. But... Ya I love these.

At 2 1/4" susp lift with 1/2" Bodylift. No rub. No bmc. Just the regar fender liner mod. I've taken it off road and no rub. Stock ORP wheels.

I have thought about doing a custom 3/4" wheel spacer mostly for look.

I think you've changed my mind into trying these. I was up under the rear yesterday inspecting some recent suspension work and I'm 90% sure they won't fit in the stock spare spot, but deflating may help. I'm curious to know if I'll need a BMC or not; I'm lifted about the same amount in the front as you (maybe only 2'') but no body lift.

I've never had a BM issue. When brand brand new I think it barley rubbed in reverse fully turned. Now it doesnt after 5k of wear. With a good alignment I doubt a quart inch of lift would make a difference. Body lift doesn't help the BM any....I just wanted it

If a 255/80 will fit in spare, no doubt these will. Almost aw size just wider. I haven't gotten one yet. Watching marketplace for a cheap 255/80. Pretty sure several on here have as well as larger

How do you guys feel about the power loss on these compared to a 285/70r17? I can get one of those in an SL or C but I’d rather have a slightly Skinnier taller tire and can live with the D load. I’m in a 3rd gen t4r

it feels lighter. i like them, but i think i'll go back to the 285/70-17 next set. miss dat girth. wait what

FYI: Just got done having these mounted on my ~2''/1'' lifted ORP with stock wheels (no spacers). Mild rub on the front bumper under hard turning, so I'll do the Pro trim. So far they clear BM easily with a stock alignment specs (~2.5* caster) and work well with my larger mud flaps as well. Pics to come soon.

Does anyone have flexed pics of this size? Kinda looking at the exact same set up as OP, I like the tiny bit taller height and D load vs 255/80. Hoping just fender liner push and minor trimming will do the trick if it’s flexed out!

no pics, but have mobbed it hard with these tires. Less clearance issues than a 285/70-17. We have probably a year left of life on ours, theyre cupping pretty bad, probably (lol) due to me not rotating soon enough. I've increased PSI a ton and and trying to fix it by wearing the middle of the tires more.

lol i was looking at those kendas recently. a 35x10 is barely bigger than the 34's. what could go wrong! (rips off the inner fenders and bends the sheet metal on the actual fenders from full stuffing the tires doing 60)
